Maple Syrup Fondue

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup of maple syrup

  • 2 cup of 35% cream

  • 2 tsp of cornstarch

  • Fresh fruit cup per person

Methods:

  • Heat the syrup over medium heat for more or less 5 minutes

  • In a small bowl, mix a small portion of the cream with the cornstarch

  • Bring to a boil the rest of the cream and add to the hot maple syrup

  • Add the cornstarch mix and heat at low until mixture thickens

  • Cook while stirring 3 to 5 minutes until it thickens

  • Serve with fresh fruit or as a topping on pound cake
