Onion soup with spelt wheat beer

Ingredients:

  • 200 g of onions
  • 40 g of margarine
  • 40 g of flour
  • 1/2 l spelt wheat beer
  • 1l beef bouillon
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 4 slices of bread
  • 120 g of grated cheese

 

Method:

  • Peel onions and color until lightly browned.
  • Sprinkle with flour, cover with spelt beer and beef bouillon.
  • Let simmer for 10 min, season to taste.
  • Pour in bowls, cover with bread and grated cheese, place under broiler to melt cheese.
  • Serve.
