Grand Lodge Mont-Tremblant, Québec Resors & Country Inns member, supports the Fondation québécoise du cancer
Mont-Tremblant, February 20th 2008 - The Grand Lodge Mont-Tremblant along with Tapis Rouge Productions will be the hosts of the first edition of a weekend for women only with a portion of the proceeds being donated to the Fondation québécoise du cancer.
The event entitled Rendezvous for Life: Behold a Rose, Rise with Reason will be held at the Grand Lodge in Mont-Tremblant from April 11th to 13th which is the month of cancer. More than 200 women of all ages are expected. Packages will be on sale at the beginning of March at a cost of $339 per person for double occupancy and $319 in triple occupancy which includes all meals, activities and many surprises. For those women interested to reserve their place in advance or wanting more information, they can contact Tapis Rouge Productions at 514-380-5965 or by email at: info@rendezvouspourlavie.com.
The program will include a range of activities and initiatives that will raise money for the Fondation québécoise du cancer which is dedicated to improve upon the quality of the lives of those diagnosed with cancer and their families through a variety of services such as lodging, information and supportive care and attention.
The event will also be supported by many partners including the Montreal based car dealership Luciani Acura & Infiniti.
“I've had this idea for years to create a weekend for women that would be uplifting and inspiring,” explains Julie Massicotte, President of Tapis Rouge Productions and instigator of the event. “But women are most fulfilled when they have a focus and a mission to carry forward, and it was also important to me that our efforts benefit a Québec organisation. Matching up with the Fondation québécoise du cancer couldn't be a better fit, both personally and with the theme of our weekend; we want it to be a celebration of life, not only of our own but also of those that are fighting to save theirs.”
“We are pleased and honoured to partner with Julie and the Fondation québécoise du cancer to host this inspiring event – a first in Québec and in Canada,” comments Yannick Beaupertuis, Managing Partner – Sales & Marketing for the Grand Lodge. “Our female clientele has been growing considerably for the past few years; women enjoy staying with us. They take time for themselves, have a massage, read a book with a glass wine in the leather sofas by the fireplace, or just soak in the surroundings. Everyone at the Grand Lodge is excited about this event, eager to receive everybody and help make it a great success.”
