Le Grand Lodge, a Member of Québec Resorts, Inaugurates Series of Dance Weekends

Mont-Tremblant, January 6th, 2009 - Le Grand Lodge Mont-Tremblant, member of Québec Resorts and Country Inns, in collaboration with the famous Montreal promoter Sheldon Kagan International, hosts its first in a series of dancing weekends, this coming January 16th & 17th.

Geared to couples looking for some quality time together in an exceptional setting where music and dance are the focal points, this inaugural weekend will be danced out to the theme of music from “Yesterday & Today” with an international Disc Jockey and a repertoire of over 50,000 songs.

The package for the weekend includes a two-night stay in one of the lake view suites, cocktails Friday and Saturday night, buffet dinner with wine and dance on Friday, Table d'hôte dinner with wine and dance on Saturday, and breakfast for both Saturday and Sunday. Babysitting services at a fee will also be made available upon request. For all the details, please call Le Grand Lodge: 819.425.2734 or 1.800.567.6763.

After 45 years as impresario, event planner and music producer, Sheldon Kagan International's reputation has long been recognized. Known as the company behind the success of such trade shows as the Salon de la Mariée and the Salon des Baby Boomers, it is his passion for music and disc jockeying that first propelled him to international recognition. He brought to Montreal, such famous names in jazz and Big Band music as Miles Davis, The Glen Miller Orchestra and Dave Brubeck, and many pop artists including Loggins and Messina, Billy Preston, Buck Owens, to name but a few.

“We have had such a great response to our themed nights and Saturday dances,” explains Michel Garnier, General Manager of Le Grand Lodge “that we decided to make it a real event and host a series of dance weekends. People kept telling us how much they enjoyed themselves. There is nothing like music to bring people together, and in Sheldon Kagan International we have found the perfect partner!”
