Le Grand Lodge Mont-Tremblant, Québec Resorts & Country Inns member, Announces New Features for Its 2007 - 2008 Winter Season


Mont-Tremblant, Québec - December 19th, 2007 - Le Grand Lodge Mont-Tremblant is pleased to launch three new activities this winter: the Alaskan Husky Adventure, the Petit Lodge and the Beaulieu Trail. Plus, their restaurant Chez Borivage will be serving their new winter menu as of December 20th.

Alaskan Husky Adventure
Alaskan Husky Adventure offers exclusive half day or full day dog-sledding excursions along trails amidst the dense Laurentian forests with initiation on how to harness and drive the dog sled team and, a mid way stop for some traditional treats from the region. Lucie Perron, professional musher is a pioneer in her field and passionate about huskies and dog-sledding, a tradition deeply-rooted in Québec's history which she proudly carries from her grand-father famous for opening Québec's Great North.

The Petit Lodge
The Petit Lodge is a new service for children 4 to 12 years making the Grand Lodge the only hotel in the Tremblant region to offer indoor and outdoor activities staffed by professional child care supervisors.  Activities will range from skating on the hotel's private rink, to tobogganing and, arts & crafts.

The Beaulieu Trail
The Beaulieu Trail is a skating pathway created throughout the woods alongside the hotel’s outdoor rink. Lit until 9pm every night, the trail was named after Ginette Beaulieu, executive housekeeper at the Grand Lodge who came up with the wonderful idea.

Winter menu
Jean-Luc de la Bruère, Executive chef of Chez Borivage introduces a new formula of menus: a Table d’hôte in 4 courses and one in 5 courses both created right from the À la carte menu which highlights this winter season some of Québec’s finest products such as Marinated Sea Scallops with Bell Pepper Coulis and a Creamy Mango Dressing and, Fine Crusted Tart with Smoked Brome Lake Duckling and Wild Mushrooms.
