Montréal, Québec — June 1, 2007 — Québec Resorts and Country Inns held its annual general assembly on May 28, 29 and 30, at Hôtel Royal William Québec. The network's members seized the occasion to discuss the projects under development, and to also elect their new board of directors for the coming year.

The following members make up the new board for 2007-2008:

Chairperson
Linda Gallant, Auberge des Gallant

Vice-Chairperson
Guy Boisclair, Auberge Godefroy

Secretary-Treasurer
Suzie Beaudry, Auberge La Montagne Coupée

Directors
François Dallaire, Estrimont Suites & Spa
Claude Dufour, Auberge des Peupliers
Mario Gauthier, Manoir du Lac Delage
Marc Mestdagh, Village Windigo

Senior Advisor
Gérald Lafontaine

Two new members joined the 2007-2008 Board of Directors: Marc Mestdagh, from the Windigo Village, and François Dallaire, from Estrimont Suites & Spa. These two establishments are also new members of the Québec Resorts & Country Inns banner. Linda Gallant is elected Chairperson for a third consecutive year, while Suzie Beaudry retains her position as Secretary-Treasurer. Ms. Gallant, a member of the Québec Resorts board since 2002, is the first woman in Québec to be named Hotelier of the Year by the Québec Hoteliers Association. She received the honor in 2003.

The annual general assembly gave members the opportunity to talk about the major projects, including the one-year anniversary of the Privilege Program. Designed to thank and reward loyal and frequent guests, the Québec Resorts and Country Inns Privilege Program is in operation since June 2006 at each of the network's 25 establishments. Collectors earn points for every dollar they spend anywhere across the network. Customers interested in enrolling in this innovative, flexible and entirely free program can visit www.resortsquebec.com/privilege.
