
Montréal, Québec — May 5, 2005 — The Québec Resorts network is happy to announce that the members of its new Board of Directors for 2005-2006 have been elected during its annual general assembly, held at Auberge La Montagne Coupée, on May 1, 2 and 3, 2005.

In addition to marking the network's 15th anniversary, member establishments have yet another reason to celebrate. Linda Gallant becomes the first female chairperson in the history of the organization. A member of the network's Board of Directors since 2002, Ms. Gallant is also the first woman to be named Hotelier of the Year (2003) by the Québec Hoteliers Association.
With Suzie Beaudry as Secretary-Treasurer, this represents the first year women make up the majority in the Executive Council. Many new ideas and major projects are in the works for 2005-2006.
