In fact, the average number of daily visitors for the month of June 2002 doubled in comparison to the same period last year to top the
1,400 mark. On a monthly basis, the jump translates into
42,758 visitors.
The success is largely due to the various summer season advertising campaigns rolled out by Québec Resorts, which targets the following markets in order of importance: the U.S., Ontario. and of course, Québec.
New e-tools for greater interactivity
The extent of the success is also being generated by the remarkable ease of online access to the 23 establishments that belong to the network, not to mention the multitude of e-tools made available on the Québec Resorts website. Which explains why Québec Resorts will soon acquire a security license for transactional purposes that will enable internet users to buy packages online. The convenience of direct booking a dream getaway or vacation package is becoming a reality. Gift certificates will also be eligible for online purchase, and will be mailed out the following business day.
The summer campaign also focuses on the website’s new look and new feature sections. The images and visual design are to be even more creative and lively to better reflect the dynamics of the Québec Resorts network.
As for the packages, they will be easier to identify, with examples of search criteria ranging from wedding receptions or business meetings to spa treatments, to name a few.
