Québec Resorts celebrates its 20th anniversary
Montréal, December 15, 2009 - The Québec Resorts and Country Inns network is very pleased to announce that it will mark its 20th anniversary on February 1st, 2010. To celebrate this event, Québec Resorts is preparing an array of initiatives and festivities for the network's clientele.
Founded in 1990, Québec Resorts arose as an initiative of business people concerned with the priority of remaining competitive and increasing their share of the market, both inside Québec and abroad. Québec Resorts is now recognized as the finest network of country inns and hotels in Québec. Grouping together 26 members in 12 tourist regions, the network consists, above all, of a philosophy that has developed over the years and that rests on the quality of hotel services, a warm welcome, fine regional cuisine, and natural heritage that is showcased through the cultural and sports activities that the members have to offer.
“The Québec Resorts and Country Inns network has been very innovative in the development of Québec tourism by grouping together under a single banner renowned holiday destinations managed by independent owners,” states Sylvie Baril, General Director of Québec Resorts. “For 2010,” adds Ms. Baril, “we hope to emphasize the excellence and quality our network has to offer by developing a local gastronomy certification. We also want to indulge our Québec Resorts clientele with a variety of contests and promotions created especially for the occasion.”
In fact, beginning in February, the first contest with several prizes to be won will be announced on the Québec Resorts website. In addition, special promotions will be offered all year long in order to highlight the network's 20th anniversary. Currently, clients can already take advantage of a 20% discount on their second night’s stay until March 20, 2010 at most member establishments.
