Québec Resorts’ revamped website a popular destination!
Although the tide hasn’t shifted in favor of the tourism industry in recent months, the
website of Québec Resorts and Country Inns is enjoying some notable success!
Onlined last December, the enriched version of the website is efficiently
meeting the needs of web users looking to plan their Québec holiday around the various member establishments of the Québec Resorts network. The proof is in the browser traffic, which experienced a
major increase in July 2003 with over 61,000 sessions, compared to 43,355 for the same period last year. Average session time rose to 8 minutes.
There was also a greater use of the online tools available. A comparison of figures for July 2003 vs. July 2002 shows that
online bookings tripled,
requests for package guides and corporate kits doubled,
gift certificate purchases also doubled, and
over 50% more visitors entered the various monthly contests.
The interest web users have shown in the site is also reflected in the
growing number of monthly newsletter subscribers, which recorded an increase of nearly
40% since January 2003.
The relevance and timeliness of the information, combined with the overall user-friendliness of the website, have made it a destination of choice for people who enjoy using the internet to plan their countryside getaway, business meeting or other event at any one of Québec Resorts’ 24 establishments.
