Six inns from the Québec Resorts and Country Inns network receive a prestigious wine list award
Montreal, Québec - November 6, 2008 - Québec Resorts & Country Inns is very proud to announce that the Collège des Ambassadeurs du vin au Québec recently awarded their 2008 Carte d'Or to six of the network's establishments. The Carte d'Or is the highest distinction a wine list can receive in Québec. The recipients are Auberge des 21, Auberge des Gallant, Auberge Godefroy, Auberge La Montagne Coupée, Auberge Ripplecove & Spa and Manoir des Érables.

Hundreds of restaurants applied for the prestigious award. Only 73 received a 2008 Carte d'Or, awarded on the basis of a rigorous review of each applicant's wine selection. The applicants were rated on both the quality and the overall presentation of their wine lists. The members of the Collège selection committee were: Pierre Cazalis, Nicole Barette Ryan, Champlain Charest, Charles-Henri de Coussergues, Daniel Farèse, Martin Gosselin, Ghislain K-Laflamme, Gaston L'Heureux, Don-Jean Léandri, Jacques Orhon, Guy Racine et Jean-Gilles Jutras.
